Preparation for the regional synod continues in Budapest

On July 15, the Lerini Saint Vincent Parish of the Northern Catholic Church’s Saint Stephen Region, centered in Budapest, will hold its parish meeting.

At the meeting, the community members with voting rights will elect the parish representative body. The agenda will also include the tasks facing the parish, as well as community and pastoral challenges.

The meeting will also address preparations for the regional synod planned for September. With this, the Budapest community will join the joint preparatory process that will define the coming months of the Saint Stephen Region.

The July meeting will also provide an opportunity for the parish members to jointly review the community’s situation and the tasks for the upcoming period.
