The Old Catholic community was also present at the Békés Flavors Street

One of the popular community programs of the 28th Madzagfalvi Days, the Békés Flavors Street, was held on Saturday, August 22 in Békés. At the Event Square, visitors were welcomed from the morning by cauldrons, delicious aromas, and good cheer, with 19 teams participating in the cooking competition.

Members of the Békés Old Catholic community were also present at the event, joining one of the city’s largest community events. Such occasions provide a great opportunity for meeting, conversation, and for different local communities to be present together in the life of the city.

The Békés Flavors Street was once again about community togetherness, traditions, and a good atmosphere. The presence of the Old Catholics also indicated that church communities are a natural part of the social and community life of Békés.
