Ecclesiastical and educational issues were discussed

Péter Kováts, general episcopal vicar, and György Pál Pápay held a personal meeting in which they reviewed the major training and church organization tasks facing the Northern Catholic Church – Saint Stephen Region.

The meeting discussed the possibilities for further training of priests and other ministers, as well as the role of theological studies and the planned Theological Academy. The initiative aims to provide orderly and in-depth training for all those who carry out pastoral or other service in the Church or are preparing for it.

The participants of the meeting reviewed the preparations for the subdeacon ordination and also coordinated organizational and content-related issues concerning the regional synod to be held in September.
